South Queensway

The first Enviro21 Innovation Park...

The first four business units at the South Queensway Enviro21 Park, on the outskirts of Hastings (see locations page), have been completed – with more soon to follow.

The business units

Two of the first four business units are already occupied. A third is under offer and a fourth is available to let—offering 1,023m2 (11,009 sq ft) of production space with integral offices.

We will develop a further six units on the South Queensway Enviro21 Park next and are inviting pre-letting discussions for these now. In addition, there is scope for an additional bespoke development. We plan to create a total of 8,833m2 (95,078 sq ft) of business space on this Park overall.

With a wide range of sustainable features and biomass heating options installed, the first four business units have been independently forecast to emit an estimated:

  • 42% less CO2 than typical premises of their size
  • 25% less CO2 than buildings conforming to the latest Building Regulations
  • 87% less CO2 from heating & hot water compared with gas boilers

Running with great energy efficiency, the business units will also offer low operating costs. Please get in touch to discuss what this could mean for you.

Business units are available on FRI lease terms. Alternative freehold or long leasehold sales may be considered.

The Park

The South Queensway Park is being developed to make best use of natural resources - sun, wind and water. The buildings promote natural ventilation and solar control, to reduce water consumption and to maximise energy efficiency.

The Park will also incorporate a two-megawatt wind turbine.

Companies at the South Queensway Enviro21 Park can tap into high powered internet services via ADSL2+ or fibre broadband - with speeds up to 1Gbps - at competitive prices and with a choice of provider.

In addition, the South Queensway site incorporates The Sussex Exchange - an exhibition and meeting venue with a sustainable restaurant designed to serve the business community. The Sussex Exchange will act as a focal point for business collaboration and knowledge transfer.
